Animal welfare commitments are only meaningful when they can be evidenced. Every initiative published in this section is linked to a document — a protocol, training record, audit report or third-party assessment — and is reviewed on a set date.
Welfare seals and scheme marks are not displayed unless participation has been verified and permission to use the mark is on file. The site does not claim alignment with a standard, certification or initiative that has not been confirmed.
This section will describe practice at animal reception and lairage, handling and stunning procedures, staff training and competence, monitoring and internal auditing, and the veterinary oversight applied on site.
